Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

In Bangladesh, access to proper healthcare and nutrition seems like a never-ending challenge for those living in urban slums and disaster-prone rural areas. Our community health initiatives in Bangladesh include educating people about health, hygiene, and nutrition values by conducting wellness programs and workshops. By arranging these programs and workshops, we create awareness about the knowledge people need to make healthier food choices. Also, we help them with knowledge like where to seek proper health support, child and pregnant women’s nutrition plans, etc. Through community-based learning, our goal is to spread this knowledge among the root level of undereducated and marginal communities. We dream of a nation where no individual would remain malnourished and suffer from health issues just because of little knowledge.

Nutrition Programs and Preventive Health Strategies

Our Health and Nutrition initiatives are not limited to educating people. Still, we are actively contributing to changing harmful consumer behaviors on a large scale in Bangladesh and replacing them with sustainable solutions. Promoting and marketing biodegradable products is one such initiative. Additionally, we take part in critical analysis from time to time, which allows us to identify gaps in program delivery and tailor our interventions to the specific needs of different communities. Also, to protect marginal populations from health risks, we implement preventive measures and equip them with the required facilities. We address the unique health needs of each community and provide tailored support.

Improving Lives of Marginal People

The wellness of community health depends on the environment and atmosphere where people live and what they eat. We create awareness in communities about the risks associated with the use and disposal of plastic and polythene and highlight the significant health risks that may arise as an impact. We are very optimistic since people are getting concerned and positive about making a change. Another concerning issue is the habit of eating healthy when a good portion of the population in our nation is not completely aware of it. Through our workshops, we encourage people to eat healthy foods, check on nutritional values while eating, and maintain hygiene.

We support entrepreneurs who produce dry fish using modern machinery, encouraging consumers to choose machine-made over hand-made dry fish for healthier eating habits.
